Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Beccaynr (talk) 15:55, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Beccanyr,
Many thanks. The edit was minor and the statement of what Posie Parker “is” is opinion (newspaper article or not - I am an ex journo) not a verifiable job description and, not what she is by her own statement. The edit reflects the later part of the page where it states “she describes herself” - both edits are accurate.
cheers. 90.193.121.251 (talk) 18:39, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi and thank you for the reply - as general matters, I suggest reviewing the information page about what should be marked as a WP:MINOR edit, and the guidance for editing while logged out. As to the article content issue, I encourage you to review the FAQ posted at the top of the article Talk page - the answer states: Wikipedia follows what reliable sources say, according to the neutral point of view policy. Wikipedia is also not a means of promotion, e.g. Wikipedia articles about a person, company or organization are not an extension of their website, press releases, or other social media marketing efforts. This can be discussed more at the article Talk page if you wish to discuss this further. Thank you, Beccaynr (talk) 19:24, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
