June 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Miss Perú 1963  with this edit, without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 04:43, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Miss Nicaragua 2015[edit]

Hi, I'm Domdeparis. Cotichi2015, thanks for creating Miss Nicaragua 2015!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hi I just cleaned up the layout of the article as there were too many spaces between sections and too much Bold please read MOS:BOLD and MOS:LINEBREAKS

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Overuse of bold font[edit]

Hello, Cotichi. I see that you've been adding bold font to various entries in the infoboxes for Miss Peru pageants. But these entries shouldn't be using bold font. See MOS:BOLD for more detail. I've reverted the ones that I found, but I see that you restored at least one of them. Rather than edit warring over this, I'll be happy to discuss the matter with you. If you have some reason to believe that MOS:BOLD does not apply to the articles you are working on, please let me know. NewYorkActuary (talk) 15:10, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Miss Perú 2019 shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. -- Bri.public (talk) 20:08, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Can you help confirm a Miss Nicaragua picture?[edit]

Daniela Torres, hopefully?
Daniela Torres, mother Luviana Bonilla, sister Luviana Torres?

You're the main editor of Miss Nicaragua 2015, so I wonder if you could help? I found this Creative Commons licensed video of Daniela Torres, Miss Nicaragua 2015, with her mother Luviana Bonilla, and her sister Luviana Torres, who was first runner up in Miss Nicaragua 2013. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0htDrWcSdnM But I'm not entirely sure which is which! I think Daniela is the one in the blue, and Luviana is the one in the yellow, but I'm not 100% sure; they are sisters after all, and do look a fair bit alike. Can you confirm my identification? There is a newspaper article that goes along with the video https://www.elnuevodiario.com.ni/variedades/356370-clan-reinas/ in case that helps, but unfortunately the better picture there is not licensed Creative Commons, so we can't use it. -- GRuban (talk) 15:57, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
