Your 1967 date is for the final closure of the CHPR - it occured while I was away at College, so I didn't go on the final train :-(. The line from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne had gone in the 50s (I remember noticing they'd lifted the track (at Newhaven?) when my mum and dad used to drive us round that part of the Peak as kids.)
