Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. NrDg 17:05, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Brenda Song. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to blocking of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. NrDg 23:21, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I realize you may be new here, but it's not necessary to convert everything to a table. When there is a separate filmography or discography article (such as Brenda Song filmography), the common practice is to have a simple list (see Jennifer_Lopez#Discography) or even just the link (see Bette_Davis#Filmography) in the main article. Speedy deletion of A Minor Second

[edit]

A tag has been placed on A Minor Second requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Free images can stay in infoboxes

[edit]

Greetings! I see you have twice deleted the image from the infobox of Ashley Tisdale. This is a free image, so it may be used in the infobox. You have also provided no edit summary explaining why you deleted it. If you have concerns about the image, please discuss them at the talk page before removing the image. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 16:43, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced information revisited

[edit]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to High School Musical 3: Senior Year. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, your edits will be considered vandalism and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Without a source, a mention of a possible sequel is speculative, and Wikipedia is not for rumors. —C.Fred (talk) 21:42, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of A Minor Second

[edit]

A tag has been placed on A Minor Second requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article.

Movie information must be sourced - not speculation, rumors, or projection

[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as the one you made to Regina Hall. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. Until/unless there are reliable sources saying the movie will be made, it is premature to mention Scary Movie 5 in any articles, even if a date of "TBA" is shown. Before making an edit like this again, please discuss it on the talk page first. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 16:19, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Cperea1994 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

Scary Movie 5

[edit]

What reliable sources do you have that the movie is in production? It takes more than just an announcement that the movie will be made before it is notable enough to get an article. —C.Fred (talk) 21:37, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Woody Fink

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Woody Fink, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Raven-Symone image

[edit]

After you find an image that is licensed for use, I'll help you add it in. Please read WP:FU and WP:IUP first. The rules there are simple:

  • It can't be a picture you downloaded off the web
  • It can't be a screenshot of her in character
  • It can't be a scan of an album cover

No one has ever found a legal picture ... that's why there isn't one in the article. Like I said, if you find one, I'll help you add it in.Kww (talk) 21:58, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ashley Tisdale

[edit]

She's not part of the Suite Life on Deck cast, so why do you keep adding it to the intro text? Tabercil (talk) 21:08, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Urban Legend UL11

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Urban Legend UL11, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

As far as I can tell, no such film exists or will exist in the near future. And this article has been in the state of disarray that you see before you since it was created earlier today.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dismas|(talk) 05:48, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Pink-179.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Pink-179.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:59, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Choice95.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 00:16, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
