Hi there, this change, was absolutely not a minor edit as established at WP:MINOR, which is for cosmetic changes that couldn't possibly be the subject of a dispute, like typo fixes, grammar fixes, capitalisation, reversion of obvious vandalism, etc. I don't have a perspective on the content, but I think you should discuss the matter on the article's talk page, since this seems to be potentially controversial.
