Hello all...I am new to this website but feel the need to share what I've found out. I was excited just to know I wasn't crazy and that there were others out there with the same problem. I have suffered with this Proctalgia Fugax for over 25 years...my doctor has tried everything from irritable bowel medications to diverticulitis medications, etc...I would have to run home and just sit on the stool...sometimes for a LONG time until the pain subsided. I love to fish so you can imagine what it did to my fishing. I recently had hernia surgery and was hoping that MAYBE it would be cured after I healed...NO...IT WAS WORSE!!! Finally my wife asked me to try her nerve pill...Wellbutrin XL..150 mg. I'm so excited I can hardly spit! It works..can you believe it? After all those years of suffering with that. The pain was so excrutiating sometimes that it just makes you want to give up. Try it people..it works...I'm not affiliated with any kind of drug company...I'm just a fisherman that found something that works..that's all. If you've tried everything else and it didn't help you....TRY IT...YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY...CALL YOUR DOCTOR AND BE OUT OF PAIN...it sure worked for me and I'm 65 years old and have tried everything.
