Hello CreativeMindset01. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:CreativeMindset01. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=CreativeMindset01|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS💬 07:04, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It should be noted that I wasn't compensated to make this wiki page by any means neither am i connected in anyway to the person i created this page for, it has come to my notice that you might have perceived suspicion due to the fact that I published this page way too early but, I've been working on this particular content for a month offline using my MS word before finally submitting it yesterday. I'm a voluntary writer for now and still very much unemployed, instead of wasting away my time away, I had to starting sacrificing my time here. I really wish to be part of this platform leading contributor.

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

I understand that wikipedia is a major platform which good writers and voluntary ones help in editing and making every page published here a better one, I am a new contributor in this platform and i feel more privilege should be granted to me to help in making this platform a better place. Recently, I got involved in what is termed Edit War which is against this platform guidelines and policy, I was blocked due to that action, I've read and understood how it works and i have digested everything that would keep me off from flouting Wikipedia guidelines and I'm also willing to adhere to every of them considering the fact that i know the outcome and effect of taking any action that goes against wiki guidelines. Since i have read and understood, not only have i read and understood, I'm willing to adhere to them, I feel this block is no longer a necessity, i should be given a chance to contribute to the betterment of wiki within my knowledge. I assure you that no damage or disruption would be proceeded by me, and i'm willing to make useful contribution on this platform CreativeMindset01 (talk) 22:09, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Recently, i made a publication about Oxlade (Musician), due to the fact that i was fast as i am a fast writer and creative one i guess, that led to the suspicion that i was paid to make that page which is not true, then paid advertisement tag was added to the page which i created but if you take an extensive study, you will realize i wasn't paid to make the page as the person in question is a notable name which page which hasn't been been published in the main page of wiki, i feel the need to have it here, It should be noted that I wasn't compensated to make that wiki page by any means neither am i connected in anyway to the person i created this page for, it has come to my notice that you might have perceived suspicion due to the fact that I published this page way too early but, I've been working on this particular content for some month offline using my MS word with sleepless nights research about the subject before finally creating the page and submitting it. I'm a voluntary writer for now and still very much unemployed, instead of wasting away my time away, I had to start sacrificing my time here. I really wish to be part of this platform leading contributor. And I really wish the block be reverted, the tags be removed on that page and also, i should be allowed to move those pages to main page as i'm willing to do more contribution here and also willing to create more useful pages here and contribute too within my knowledge and power CreativeMindset01 (talk) 7:16 pm, 17 August 2020, Monday (11 days ago) (UTC−4)

What is your relationship to User:OlamideGCFR? only (talk) 19:55, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

CreativeMindset01 (talk) 20:19, 18 August 2020 (UTC) It should be noted that I don't know the user User:OlamideGCFR from anywhere, I came across his/her profile while surfing through wiki and discovered that he/she's a good editor here, so I asked him/her to help me make corrections and edits since it was my first created page here. I needed it to be perfect especially for the readers. it should be noted that I don't know who he/she is, I just came across the user recently while going through edit history of of some pages. So i contacted him/her to help me in making some editing and corrections.[reply]

Only, FWIW, I do not believe that these users are connected, from a technical standpoint at least. SQLQuery me! 21:58, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

CreativeMindset01 (talk) 05:43, 19 August 2020 (UTC) I really need to continue contributing useful information to this platform, since I’ve been found not to be connected to the user User:OlamideGCFR technically, can I be unblocked now to start writing?[reply]

Apart from promotional edits, you were also involved in move warring and WP:COPYVIO. GSS💬 05:52, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

CreativeMindset01 (talk) 06:01, 19 August 2020 (UTC) I would love to know why my edit was termed promotional to avoid such mistake next time, it should also be noted that I have never been paid to make any edit here. Apology for the move warning, and i'm willing to adhere to the rules, i really need to continue contributing to this platform. Can I get another chance.[reply]

You should put your signature at the end of your comments, not at the start. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:19, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Three times now you said you really need to continue contributing to this platform. Why do you NEED to contribute? only (talk) 10:47, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am a writer and editor, I love writing, Currently voluntary one, always less busy and got enough time, within my knowledge, I want to do anything that’s useful here instead of wasting away my time. I really hope I’m permitted to again. CreativeMindset01 (talk) 16:37, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Currently voluntary? Also, how are File:Fresh vdm interview with Vanguard Newspaper.jpg and File:Oxlade video shoot.jpg your own work? MER-C 08:26, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Before uploading those files, I requested permission from the copyright owners and they specifically told me the files were subjectEd to copyright and rewriting for anything that’s not gonna tarnish their profile. CreativeMindset01 (talk) 08:33, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This only makes thigns worse. I have tagged both files on commons as media lacking permission linking to this comment becuase that permission wasn't at the support team, which is required when we want to use them here anywhere. I suggest that you familarize yourself with c:Commons:Licensing. Victor Schmidt (talk) 11:10, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I understand the consequences and I have familiarized myself with the licensing. It won’t happen again, I hope my account is restored so that I can get back to work. Thanks in anticipation. CreativeMindset01 (talk) 06:08, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
