Genres

[edit]

Hey Cronodevir, I notice you're changing the genres on a few gothic metal bands right now. I don't personally have a problem with what I've seen, but be aware that this has been a source of constant friction between editors for a while, and several revert scuffles have been sparked off, with pages being protected as necessary. By all means be bold, but discussion on talk pages and with other editors is always appreciated if others disagree with you. Nice one, Deizio talk 00:06, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Curious

[edit]

I'm curious, why did you revert 5 articles back to the versions of a user banned by ArbCom and in the process undo constructive edits? --Wildnox(talk) 22:51, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, thank you for explaining. I'm still going to make report at WP:SSP and wait for outside judgement before I remove the tag from your page, do not remove it before then, and yes I am aware there was a prior checkuser on you which was inconclusive due to Leyasu's edits being too old to compare via checkuser. --Wildnox(talk) 16:25, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also sorry I missed it the first time, but Merry Christmas. --Wildnox(talk) 18:04, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lacuna Coil

[edit]

Please don't remove protection tags from articles. Thanks. -- ReyBrujo 17:32, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your latest change, do you object the group to be called a gothic band only, or the removal of the forum? Can you provide a reliable reference that states the group is an alternative metal/gothic metal band? -- ReyBrujo 23:50, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I see. As I said above, a simple solution is to add a reference to a reliable site stating they are considered an alternative metal/gothic metal band. While it is true both sides must be shown, if you can't reference one, it should not be mentioned. And it should end all this edit warring. -- ReyBrujo 00:03, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I made the edits you reverted. Since they were purely clean-up related and you didn't provide an edit summary, could you please explain why did you revert them? -- parasti (talk) 11:22, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
