Well, apparently I was on the wrong page. I am pretty sure that this was my first attempt at editing a Wikipedia page, and when it resulted in me being banned, I more or less figured it just wasn't worth my time to learn any more. I did not know this Usertalk page existed until today. Truth be told, I have no idea how this "appeal" is expected to get to you guys, but I am following you instructions as best I can parse them. Regardless, I feel a lifetime ban is a bit extreme for whatever rule it is I violated. Also, my e-mail account information you have is wrong. I would give you the new one, but your info at the bottom says the whole world can read this. That is just not right, and you need to fix that--seriously, you can't have this as my only way to reach you but let everyone in the world read it! Which brings up an interesting point--I have no way of knowing if this is the proper way to contact you, so I will also try through other methods. Hopefully your e-mail address is somewhere on these pages. UPDATE:I did try to contact Aelffin directly, but apparently he has removed the "E-mail this user" option from his page. There is no way for me to contact him directly as your guidelines seem to indicate is one way of requesting being unblocked. Also, I have yet to find ANY way of contacting you people directly. Still digging...

Accept reason:

It is perfectly normal for accounts that have done nothing but vandalize to be indefinitely blocked. This is done to protect this project from harm. However, you have been blocked a very long time, long enough that the administrator who blocked you is no longer active here. I think it is appropriate to grant a second chance after so much time, but do be aware tha any return to the type of edits we saw before you will blocked will lead to this account being blocked again. (by the eay once you are unblocked you should be able to correct your email address in your preferences, and nobody will be ale to see your email address unless you send them an email.) Welcome back. Sorry Max, turns out my "non-encyclopedic" comments were, in fact, correct. Lance Armstrong was not stripped of his titles until today (2012/10/22). You should be more careful about correcting people who are, in fact, correct. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment.
