July 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Karl 334. I noticed that you recently removed some content from E. J. Westlake without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Speedy deletion nomination of Theatre Annual: A Journal of Performance Studies[edit]

Hello Crwier,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Theatre Annual: A Journal of Performance Studies for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Mr. Guye (talk) 19:18, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Theatre Annual: A Journal of Performance Studies is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Theatre Annual: A Journal of Performance Studies until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Mr. Guye (talk) 19:44, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

About the article you started: Theatre Annual: a Journal of Performance Studies[edit]

Hi! I noticed you started this new article. I left a comment on the talk page of the article. I'm sorry you are having a hard time with the article. In my opinion there are no valid reasons that this article should be deleted, and no chance that it will. I wish I could do more to help. I really think you should ask User:DGG at his talk page. I see that you have worked hard to improve the article. It should not be this difficult to contribute to Wikipedia, but sometimes... DDG is a librarian, and a very experienced administrator here on Wikipedia. I am sure you will find him to be very helpful, very patient, and prompt. Good luck. - Neonorange (talk) 00:36, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
