Hello! Splendid work you're doing on the bi articles. Would you be interested in signing up to WikiProject LGBT studies? We'd be delighted to have you join us! Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 03:21, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

I've noticed you are adding our banner and our bi infoboxes to articles and their talkpages. Sure I can't tempt you to join? :) Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 11:52, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
It would be nice if you could at least have the courtesy to reply. Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 23:51, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Re: Adam Bayliss

He is an Austrailian film producer whose films have been featured at the New York Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Film Festival. I noticed that you contributed the article on the festival. The Bayliss article is in AfD and needs some documentation of his significance. Do you have sources which might help to persuade the AfD editors of his notability?

Thanks.

Hi, I'd like to know what we could do to get the NPOV tags. I've just added the first three articles I came across. She really is very well know. CyntWorkStuff 19:00, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

See my comments on Talk:Robyn Ochs. Remove a few POV statements and add some references - OK? Rgds, --Trident13 21:05, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

I'd humbly suggest

You take your lectures elsewhere. Your comment was not welcome. Thanks. Kyaa the Catlord 06:13, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Hello Cynthia. Go ahead and change the tag on the article, I only added it because A) I had never heard of this particular group and B) I didn't really know what to do with it. Apparently someone (not myself) has proposed its deletion, so if you want to improve the article, this would be a good time to start.

I apologize if I have caused you any inconvenience. --Eastlaw 06:34, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

OK, I added the "cleanup" tag. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not familiar with this group because I don't follow all the LiveJournal drama. I have a strong disdain for the so-called "social networking" sites. I'm not sure if "Warriors For Innocence" is a legitimate group such as Perverted Justice, or if they are just a bunch of Christians seeking to be vengeful (there seems to be plenty of that going on these days). Hopefully a little work may save this article from WP:PROD; I can tell you firsthand that the notability criteria on this site is quite vague and arbitrarily enforced. Good luck. --Eastlaw 07:07, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi Cynthia. I've listed Warriors for innocence on the Articles for Discussion page. Since you are one of the more active editors of this page, I felt it would be nice to let you know! Have a nice day! Kyaa the Catlord 07:40, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Melissa Farley, again

I just wanted to note that once again, there's an argument over the direction of the Melissa Farley page. I have started a "Request for comments" under Talk:Melissa Farley. Your contributions are welcome. Iamcuriousblue 06:29, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

LGBT-related events and awards

Hi Cynt - I'm an LGBT project person who's also been cleaning up basic categories (organizations, events, awards, etc.). You created the Category:LGBT-related events and awards last year and I'm proposing a change to it to split it into Category:LGBT-related events and Category:LGBT-related awards. There doesn't seem to be any compelling reason to keep Category:LGBT-related events and awards as one combined category, and most events and awards are in their own separate category structures. There' some overlap, but that's true in almost all the award categories, and it seems like it makes a cleaner category structure to have the items split, and where something is truly both an event and an award to have it in both. What do you think? Category talk:LGBT-related events and awards. Cheers, Laura lquilter 16:11, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

The article was recreated. If that happens, the talk page doesn't automatically get restored. I'm not entirely convinced the recreation should stay, so I'll leave the talk page deleted. It has no useful material, just a user trying to defend the version that was deleted. --Coredesat 00:01, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

I would remove references to certain groups being violent and inform the editor who put them there about WP:NPOV. If all else fails, try reporting it at WP:ANI or WP:WNP. --Coredesat 04:25, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
I have put this article up for speedy deletion as a re-creation following AfD debate. WWGB 23:39, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Labor Day Carnival

While I agree that Fodient (among other editors) does seem to have a tiny bit of a chip on his shoulder about the parade (and somewhat more than that if you assume, as I do, that Fodient is the same user as 72.68.209.48), the "violence" section no longer seems unsatisfactory to me. It used to be much longer, with some annoying editorializing and bad sources, but I've pruned it and am pretty okay with it now. A few violent events have occurred; they are mentioned as factually as possible and given no undue weight.

Honestly I think the addition you and Fodient have been edit-warring about, with the cite from the St. Patrick's Day Parade article, is counter to what you're trying to achieve. 1) It makes the "violence" section a longer, more visually prominent part of the article; 2) that article is really not about violence, but drunk & disorderly, and is not quite addressing the issue, thus seems slightly disingenuous, 3) it makes the section sound defensive.

I do sometimes thing there should be a slight wording change, possible rename the section "Incidents of violence", as simply "Violence" sounds like a more generalized pattern, but otherwise I don't think there's much work to be done there now. Ford MF 16:45, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.swopusa.org/dec17/greenriver.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 18:14, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Bisexual chic conflicts

Hi. I thought that you would be interested in the conflicts at the bisexual chic page. People had removed material on the historical context and the recent figures in bisexual chic, and the gender imbalance in the matter. Cheers, Arbol25 (talk) 17:26, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
