December 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Tbhotch. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Drew Brees, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 00:45, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Drew Brees. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 00:51, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Drew Brees. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Read this and stop now or otherwise you will be blocked. Also, read WP:EW. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 01:04, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Explain to me why correcting an error in the text is a violation. Brees was born in Dallas, not Austin. I'm just trying to assure that his data is correct.

A) Your change is totally unsourced,
B) You has not intended to prove he did born in Dallas,
C) I gave you a "non-broken link" that demostrate he did born in Austin,
D) You never proved he did born in Dallas and then moved to Austin,
E) "An edit war occurs when editors who disagree about the content of a page repeatedly override each other's contributions, rather than trying to resolve the disagreement by discussion", which you've done multiple times in few minutes,
F) Contentious material about living persons (or recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion. Users who persistently or egregiously violate this policy may be blocked from editing.
G) Do you need more reasonsto stop and avoid to be blocked dueto our policies? Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 01:20, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
