Welcome to my talk page! Please do not bring discussions here from other pages. Please use diffs when talking about edits. This page is archived regularly. If you leave me a message on my talk page, I will reply on my talk page, so you may want to watch this page. I will not continue to watch a talk page if the discussion has migrated. I check my watchlist regularly. I don't always add talk pages to my watchlist if I comment on them, unless it's a user talk page or I started an important discussion. Thank you.

Welcome to my talk page.[edit]

This is my talk page. Please be nice. I don't want to have to be mean to you guys because you are being mean to me. Remember the Golden Rule: "Treat others the way you wish to be treated." DFletcher0306 (talk) 20:12, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia has a similar concept - Don't bite the noobies. David notMD (talk) 18:19, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No Editing Allowed![edit]

Hopefully with the change I just made, only I can edit this page.

If this doesn't work, I'll check the user guide. DFletcher0306 (talk) 15:45, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The purpose of Talk pages is for editors to communicate with each other. With certain limits, you are within your rights to delete content from other editors, the assumption being that you have read it. Other editors are not supposed to edit content that you have written on your own Talk page. David notMD (talk) 18:18, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

David notMD, first of all, thank you, second, I actually meant that I set it to where only I can edit my user page. DFletcher0306 (talk) 19:19, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well, yes, everyone is supposed to leave editors' User pages alone, unless cross certain taboos, such as posting copyright-protected content, or attempting to treat User page as a webhost for a personal page. David notMD (talk) 19:21, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
