  • Please also read WP:AFDHOWTO. It comes across as devious that you chose to leave no edit summary at all when nominating these pages for deletion, rather than the recommended "AfD: Nominated for deletion...".
  • If other users have added a file to their watchlist, they are entitled to expect major proposals – such as nomination for deletion – to be described explicitly in the edit summary. That is why the HOWTO page recommends this practice. – Fayenatic London 13:10, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • In these cases, it would have been better to propose merger/redirect to a list of characters, not outright deletion. See {{mergeto}}.
  • Moreover, in several cases you remvoved the DISPLAYTITLE template for no apparent reason. Perhaps you wanted to re-use the braces? An easy way to insert a fresh set is by clicking on {{}} in the Wiki markup panel below the edit window. If you don't see this panel, click on the "Insert" pop-up menu bar and change it to Wiki markup. Hope this helps. – Fayenatic London 13:46, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Take a minute and carefully look at the article you're about to nominate, check for sources, and then proceed to create a nomination for deletion based off of the article. Don't nominate as "fancruft" with "no real world coverage" and then not explain the relevance of those to the article. This is your final warning. Stop creating AfDs for characters without first checking to see if a merge is within the realm of possibility. There's no way that you couldn't have known that this is the proper way to do things, after you received a warning from Davey2010 over this very topic. If you had researched the characters or pages, you would have seen that the list of characters page for the Series of Unfortunate Events series has a long history of successful merge proposals. Given that you were given this warning via your talk page and several people pointed this out at the AfDs for the Matrix characters, there's no way that you wouldn't be aware that you have to do proper WP:BEFORE.

I would like to request that you not AfD any other character pages for the time being and that you instead work on learning policy a bit more. You've made less than 300 edits and so far you aren't really showing that you really understand policy or that you're listening to what people are saying to you.   • Initially I was just going to warn you, but a look shows that you've opened a whopping 26 pages for characters without doing WP:BEFORE. Some of these were done prior to the warning by Davey, but most of them were not. This made me think that you likely wouldn't pay any attention to my final warning and you've already been given more than enough notice to know that you should look into merging first. This is only a short block, but I do need to make sure that you understand that you need to follow policy. Before nominating any further character pages for AfD, first make sure that merging isn't an option. It's rare that a character in an extremely notable, long running series of any type (film, book, TV, etc) will not merit a list page for characters. In these AfDs merging is almost always the end result, so it saves more time and energy to open up a merge request. Only if there's actual pushback should you open an AfD. Claiming that you believe that there will be opposition is not a truly valid reason unless you can show some sort of proof that this would be the case, which I don't see that you've ever actually done. Once the 48 hours block is up you can resume editing, but I would strongly recommend that you not nominate any further characters for AfD for the time being. Do any of you users remember Gaz Membrane from Invader Zim? Many episodes of that show tell us, the audience, that while Gaz does know about Zim's identity and goals, she never tries to stop him because she does NOT care at all about his many attempts to conquer Earth. When I request to be forgiven and unblocked, what I want is for you users to please TRY to adopt the same attitude towards my behavior on Wikipedia that Gaz Membrane adopts towards Zim's behavior on Earth. Put it this way: In Invader Zim, the antagonist, Dib, sometimes tries to get his sister, Gaz, to assist him in stopping the protagonist, Zim, from conquering the Earth. Whenever this happens, Gaz states that while she is aware of Zim's identity and goals, she does NOT care at all about his activities. What I am trying to say is this: Just as Gaz Membrane chooses to NOT care at all about Zim's activities on Earth, similarly, I really wish that you users would choose to NOT care at all about my activities on Wikipedia, no matter how questionable they may seem.
