Welcome, from Journalist

Welcome!

Hello, DKorn, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

  • Since others have mistook me for a program or bot of some kind that automatically welcomes newusers, Ill just like to start putting it out there that Im 100% real :)

First off, a sock is someone who edits under more than one name. The person may have thought that you were an illegitimat user or something.

Now, Regarding the article. I would suggest that you wait a while until the person answers you. He/she may have just logged out of the system. Since only administrators are allowed to delete pages, I can assure you that he is a responsible editor who will provide an explanation as soon as he gets the meassage. If he does not reply soon, just rewrite the article following the guidelines that are included in the welcom sign I gave you.

Hello! I noticed your name on my watchlist, and thought I'd come to say hello. This is the first time I've seen someone else sharing my sirname—is it real? Best wishes, [[Sam Korn]] 17:42, 17 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
