Edit-warring

[edit]

Please do not attempt, anywhere on Wikipedia, to force your own point of view on to articles against consensus.

The established procedure is WP:BRD - you may Boldly, just once, place your suggested change into an article. If any other editor thinks this unhelpful, they may Revert it. It is then the custom to Discuss it on the article's talk page, or if need be on a more public forum.

What is deprecated is to WP:EDITWAR by repeatedly reinserting the same or similar material contrary to consensus. This is considered WP:DISRUPTIVE editing. Many thanks for your understanding and co-operation.

I have now twice invited you to discuss your proposed changes on Mirkwood at its talk page. Chiswick Chap (talk) 11:44, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
