Bridgman quote[edit]

Nice job on adding that second law of thermodynamics quote, I've been looking for that forever. One source I read stated that it came before 1950. Good work. What is your source? Thanks:--Sadi Carnot 06:51, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uhm not sure, I found it in my Thermodynamics lecture notes. I'd have to ask my Proffessor for the source. DMZ 17:15, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again, I ordered a copy of Bridgman's 1953 book The Nature of Thermodynamics, maybe it's in there? Later: --Sadi Carnot 18:26, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
My professor didn't pull the quote out of any specific book, but suggests that it is most likely in:
Bridgman, P. (1941) The Nature of Thermodynamics, Harvard University Press.
Reprinted (Gloucester Mass.: Peter Smith, 1969).

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Compagnie Creole.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Compagnie Creole.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:42, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
