FYI conflict of interest guideline

[edit]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia in IF? Records, Little Nobody, or other articles, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. — Athaenara 05:51, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Little Nobody

[edit]

Hi there, clearly our efforts have saved this article. I am still interested in improving the article. If you have recieved a copy of those sources I am interested in making use of them. I would like to ask you to introduce them to the article or provide me with access to a copy. Thank you for your time. Duffbeerforme (talk) 14:19, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck! It would be good to have high resolution copies permanently hosted.
However it is doubtful such copies will actually surface. Then it will be safe to conclude that the article fails to establish notability and is unverifiable, thereby meeting grounds for deletion. WaltonSimons1 (talk) 16:36, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
WaltonSimons1, will you just stop?
You have yet to counter any of the claims that you are solely here with a hidden agenda to have this article deleted for personal reasons since you have not been involved in any other Wikipedia matter and have been extremely counter-productive rather than constructive. I also know who you are and why you are doing this and it's a bit pathetic. Do not make claims like "it is doubtful such copies will actually surface" without evidence to the contrary. ::Duffbeerforme and I have discussed getting digital versions of the articles, which I have confirmed with Andrez Bergen in Tokyo, and these are available. All I need to know is how to get these on-line or hosted, or should I get Andrez to put them on something like yousendit so we can download?
This question is for Duffbeerforme, NOT WaltonSimons1 - "Walton", I would prefer you to stop contacting me okay? It's bordering on harassment.
Duffbeerforme, thanks for all your help and advice; sorry about the diatribe above. This guy is seriously pulling my strings!!DSK1984 (talk) 23:32, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Matter of this article now sorted out and sorry all round for frustration speaking (above) :-) DSK1984 (talk) 05:07, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
