Great Aunt

[edit]

I have no intention of making any more out of this, provided that she does not make that edit any longer. If she does, you, I and any other good-faith editors have an OBLIGATION to revert that edit as soon as we see it--her ego cannot be allowed to get in the way of precision. Your signature

[edit]

Hiya. You need to put a /font at the end of your sig. Everything after it is ending up in the same font. Cheers. CitiCat 03:20, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Erie

[edit]
File:WP Erie logo.png Hello DagnyB! You are receiving this message because we've noticed your excellent edits on the Erie-related page Many pages. We need your assistance at WikiProject Erie. This is a new WikiProject and there is much work to do. Please head over to the project page, add your name, and help us enhance and increase the coverage of Erie related articles.

Hi, DagnyB, which "traits" do you dispute? Perhaps I can help. There are many sites listing different traits or at least the wording may be a bit different than in the article, but depending on interpretation, words can mean different things to some. It would be more helpful if you say which ones you dispute or do you dispute all of them? Thanks! - Jeeny Talk 01:59, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. I can't get into this subject. It's too out there for me. I don't believe in it really. So, I guess we can leave it for the experts? If there is such a thing. :) Thanks! - Jeeny Talk 03:23, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Templates

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When using certain templates on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:uw-test1}} instead of {{uw-test1}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. Thank you. -- Hdt83 Chat 19:44, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article Title

[edit]

Do you know how to change the title? Thank you for changing that for me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NYYankee2684 (talkcontribs)

Duplication in talk page

[edit]

thanks for pointing that out - I use a program called VandalProof - this must be some sort of bug in the program that causes that, I'll report that as soon as possible. • master_sonTalk - Edits 02:10, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're very welcome! DagnyB 02:11, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ink blot

[edit]

The issue has been brought formally through the OTRS system. I'm protecting the article until the ticket has been resolved. I must remind you that Wikipedia is not censored, and if you have copyright questions, you must bring them up through the Images for Deletion process. Furthermore, I should inform you that copyrighted images may sometimes be allowed on Wikipedia through the fair use doctrine. SWATJester Denny Crane. 00:02, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring is never an acceptable method of dispute resolution, regardless of the reason. IF you have copyright issues, you should have taken them up in the appropriate forum. BTW, that was a commons image, not a wikipedia image. SWATJester Denny Crane. 00:37, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't say you were editwarring. There is clearly editwarring going on with that page. SWATJester Denny Crane. 01:09, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
