Per your recent edits, the Southern Conference recognizes divisional co-champions in football, with a head-to-head tiebreaker determining which co-champion advances to the conference title game. So Alabama did, in fact, shared the SEC West title with Auburn in 2013 and 2017. Please see: https://www.secsports.com/article/11145479/sec-divisional-tie-breaker.
