Hello, Dalton spearman, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please complete the student training, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. September 2015[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Dalton spearman", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because "spearman" is often used as a derogatory term towards African natives. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Thank you for your response on my talk page. I see that "Spearman" is a valid last name. After hearing your explanation, I no longer see a problem with your username. I have removed you from the list of usernames with possible policy issues. Happy editing. Belchior90 (talk) 21:37, 22 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
