Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Steal My Girl, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. 115.164.187.133 (talk) 05:29, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

User space
Sorry, but what is the point of subpages like User:Damian Vo/list13 and User:Damian Vo/list7 (which also has the Janet Jackson videography in its history)? It seems as if you are simply copying Wikipedia content without attribution, for no apparent purpose related to Wikipedia editing. Please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and Wikipedia:User pages. Drmies (talk) 17:25, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
- Please respond. Drmies (talk) 17:57, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
- [moved:] Hi there, nice to meet you. Sorry for the late reply. I just want to clarify that my subpages contain unfinished drafts, not spams. I'm sorry if my writing made you think this is not appropriate. I've just added {{Draft}} and removed all the media files on my subpages. Thank you and I hope you have a nice day. Damian Vo (talk) 18:08, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
- OK. First things first: attribution. All that content you copied was written by others and that needs to be acknowledged--the most minimal way is by stating in an edit summary where you got something from. You can still do that for all those subpages you have, and you really should do that every single time you copy content from a Wikipedia article. OK? Thanks, Drmies (talk) 18:11, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for your understanding. Damian Vo (talk) 18:12, 17 August 2017 (UTC)

Greg Kurstin photo 2007
Hi Damian,
I'm not sure why you restored the 2017 photo of Greg Kurstin, but it's a) 10 years old and b) TERRIBLE! I don't want to remove it, because maybe I'm missing something...but am I? We don't need to use three photos. Unless there's a compelling reason to keep it, can you remove it? Thank you, Julie JSFarman (talk) 21:33, 26 September 2017 (UTC)

Call Me by Your Name (film)
I see that another editor has requested a copy edit of Call Me by Your Name (film) which you have put forward as an FA candidate. What is the status of the FA review? Is it the case the article actually needs a copy edit? I don't see a request for this from any reviewers. Just curious because the article is lengthy an will take many hours to complete. I also notice that other editors are continually tinkering with it making it very close to being unstable. A stable article is one of the criteria usually needed before a c/e is undertaken by the GOCE. Thanks. Twofingered Typist (talk) 15:59, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

Hi there!
Many thanks for supporting my FLC on the country number ones of 1988. I wonder if you might also have a few minutes to look over the FLC for the 1989 list, which is inching towards the bottom of the page?

Hello. Re[1], I do appreciate your many good edits there, but found your adding citation templates a bit confusing, to me they add a whole load of code that make late editing more difficult. No offence meant otherwise. Ceoil (talk) 21:12, 20 October 2019 (UTC)

Per WP:BRD, I was bold and redirected the album to the discography. You reverted it so now I've opened a discussion about it at Talk:Kylie_Minogue#Too_early_for_Disco_album. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 10:51, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

Recent edits to Disco (Kylie Minogue album)
I checked your recent edit which added a review from Classic Pop magazine citing issue 65. That particular issue of the magazine came out on August 27, according to the magazine itself and Twitter. Additionally, we advise against ratings that are not supported by prose. I have therefore taken the reasonable assumption that the information that you added is incorrect. The latest issue of the magazine (no. 66) has just come out and neither it nor no. 65 reference Kylie Minogue on the cover pages or in their review section on their website. Given all of her albums previously got mentioned on the cover page its reasonable to assume that the information that you added is incorrect.
Furthermore, given that it is still a month away from the album's release and there's been no other reviews or mentions of the review I have removed it from the article. I do have concerns that you have recently worked on some GA articles related to Kylie. Do we need to be worried about fabrication of print sources or do you have a reasonable explanation for the above incident? Also, before I get accused of not assuming good faith, I have presented what I believe to be a reasonable position regarding the review posted for Disco. I do apologise in advance if the evidence has been misinterpreted. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 00:35, 29 October 2020 (UTC)

- Sorry for the late reply. I'm having a lot on my plate with assignments for the midterm. Here's my short clarification: I saw the Classic Pop review on a Twitter thread and naively thought it would be helpful to add it. I searched for the latest issue out there and...voilà. Added it without any hesitation. The incident was completely my fault and thank you for reverting my edit. For the rest of your message, I can't help but feel a bit hurtful about your suggestion based on my one false edit. The answer is no, I don't fabricate them. As someone who lives outside of the UK, I could hardly find those print sources. Instead, I searched for scanned reviews and interviews or archives from fansites, which I have to double-check the issue number and page number on Google. That was it. I hope my explanation is clear enough for you. Damian Vo (talk) 12:14, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hello, thank you for responding. I wasn't intentionally or deliberately saying that you fabricated a review, however as the album wasn't out yet it warranted investigation. Appreciate the explanation above and definitely satisfied that you have not gone out of your way to present any false information. We generally don't include reviews in the critics box unless we have matching prose too as this qualifies the rating and prevents abuse or fabrication. On this occasion, it would be best to leave the review out as we don't have the prose to match the rating. Thanks for all your hard work (I noticed your recently passed GAs). ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 17:01, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
