FLCL

[edit]

As a userbox fan of FLCL, would you be willing to vote for its nomination at Wikipedia's Article Improvement Drive? If elected, it will be the subject of a week-long overhaul, in an attempt to pass in to Featured Article status! Also: welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks, Litefantastic 17:22, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Habbo Hotel

[edit]

I highly doubt you have any good reason for removing the Current Hotel list on Habbo Hotel – it is a good addition to the article! Just because the wiki is an English language wiki, doesn't mean we can't have content about other languages! If this was so, then you should start listing Spanish language and France, and thousands of other foreign-related articles for deletion on articles for deletion. Hi there. I just deleted your subpage, and I noticed that you used a prod to delete it. Unless there's a good reason, it's probably more efficient to tag the page with {{db-userreq}}, which is designed to help users delete their userpages and/or related subpages, and categorizes the page for speedy deletion. Just a helpful tip, don't worry about it. :) Nihiltres(t.l) 15:58, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Was there any sort of discussion for the merge? I want to know before reverting or anything. If it's all good and in concensus, you'd best to add {{R from merge}} to those redirects.—Loveはドコ? (talkcontribs) 06:28, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the Pokemon Collaborative Project is doing this for all the articles. I read all 3 and it seemed redundant to have them seperate, so I made a good faith merge :). I'll add the template now; I was not aware of its existance. DanPMK 06:31, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Togepi Neo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Togepi Neo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:58, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:POKE is doing some housecleaning

[edit]

This notice is to inform you that because many people have added their names to Wikipedia:WikiProject Pokémon#Participants but do not seem to be active, all names are being deleted in an effort to find out who is still truly interested in the project. All you have to do is re-add your name if you'd still like to be considered a member of WP:POKE. Any questions, you can contact me on my talk page. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 17:37, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The list of participants of the Pokémon WikiProject is quite sizable, however, there is no way to determine which of whom are active contributors to that project. All participants in the list have been moved to Inactive. If you consider yourself to be an active member of the Pokémon WikiProject, please go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Pokémon#Participants and move your username to the Active section. Thank you. RGB color star

[edit]

Thank you for creating the wonderful RGB color star:. I imported it into the Wikipedia color wheel article. However, there is one slight error. The correct name of the color between green and cyan is spring green, not aquamarine, which is a different color. Also, it would be a good idea to title the color on the color wheel between yellow and green, chartreuse, as "chartreuse green" in order to differentiate it from the other major shade of chartreuse, chartreuse yellow (traditional chartreuse). It would be good if you made these changes to ensure that your marvelous and fantastic color star is totally accurate. Best wishes and Happy Holiday, Keraunos (talk) 19:20, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome :) If you can't edit the svg yourself I can alter it later when I have time - MK (t/c) 02:33, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for updating your marvelous color wheel! On 10 January 2010, I added it to the Wikipedia Color Project page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Color/Normalized_Color_Coordinates

which can be navigated to from any color box in any Wikipedia article by pressing the blue disc on the upper right hand side of the color box. So, I thought that the color wheel should be totally accurate. I can't think of any more suggestions for needed changes for now. Thank you so much! Best wishes always, Keraunos (talk) 03:06, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Here is a link to the color band chart of the 12 color wheel colors I created on 13 October 2008 for the Simple English Wikipedia article on the color wheel (go down the page about 7/8 of the way to the end):

Best wishes, Keraunos (talk) 03:13, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, there is one other small correction that needs to be made. You titled it RBG color wheel but the title normally used is RGB color wheel, so you should move the article to the title RGB color wheel if possible. Best wishes, Keraunos (talk) 04:58, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that filename mistake shortly after I uploaded it to the wiki, and you can't rename files. I decided to leave it. I might make a different, totally original color wheel later using that name. - MK (t/c) 08:15, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You should also make the color wheel go clockwise. Right now it goes counter-clockwise. Based on the frequencies of the underlying light waves, red leads to green leads to blue leads back to red, so it makes sense for that to correspond to the clockwise direction. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.13.90.76 (talk) 20:59, 28 September 2010 (UTC) Sorry this is one of my first ever wikipedia edits. Yeah I realized this a while ago. I'll fix it when I have time. — MK (t/c) 22:59, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your work on the RGB colour star, thanks for that, it is great. I also noticed the BYR and RGB colour stars have the same base dimensions, but the type and cropping are different, so in the end they have different aspect ratios, as well as transparencies. I would change that if I had the skills, but I don't. If you ever find the time, it would be highly appreciated. Superp (talk) 09:05, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this message is to let you know about disambiguation links you've recently created. A link to a disambiguation page is almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

RGB color star on Wikimedia Commons

[edit]

I would like to suggest that when you have time that you download your beautiful RGB color star to the Wikimedia Commons. It only takes a few minutes to set up an account. Then, your color star will be accessible to the users on all the other Wikipedias. Especially in the color articles, the other Wikipedias often follow what the English Wikipedia is doing. I sometimes edit color articles on some of the other Wikipedias, and then I will be able to link to your color star when explaining a point (I use Google translate when I edit color articles in other languages.). Please let me know after you have done this. Keraunos (talk) 02:34, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
