Please review me!

Daniel: I received your message...actually, just got it via e-mail. I have been extremely busy and have not been back to the page in a few days. For the moment, is it possible that I can just make the page "not visible", and then edit it later? LCT Michael (talk) 15:10, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You say the information I added was unneeded and not constructive. I disagree. That's subjective. Please put it back in. Thank you. Lynette 888889 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lynette888889 (talkcontribs) 18:38, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please tell me how this is constructive? Also please take the time to look over point 2 on WP:PN which is what I am mainly referring to Danielj2705 (talk) 18:42, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you commented on an earlier version of this page (which the user apparently recreated after it was deleted) recommending improvements. It does not appear to me that the user Milkstracciacow improved it. As a matter of fact, I have nominated this page for speedy deletion, since it appears to be unverifiable, a hoax and a complete fabrication. I thought you might want to know about this, since this user appears to have a troubled history (aside from ignoring your suggestions). Gsshatan (talk) 20:04, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Alan Taylor (circuit judge)

[edit]

Wikipedia criteria state that national and sub-national judges are considered notable. SO the article should not be speedy deleted.Oldjoe2 (talk) 15:06, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have unreviewed a page you curated

[edit]

Thanks for reviewing TV Channel 16/12, Danielj27052705.

Unfortunately MrX has just gone over this page again and unreviewed it. Their note is:

This article should not have been marked as reviewed. It is rife with WP:NPOV problems, unreliable sources and possible notability issues. Please see WP:NPP for guidance.

To reply, leave a comment on MrX's talk page.

Johnstone, O'Shannessy and Co

[edit]

I've just received an email from Wikipedia saying that you, as an editor, have made changes to the page I have just created on Johnstone, O'Shannessy and Co, but this change does not show in the 'history' tab.

Can you tell me what the changes are? MrArmstrong2 (talk) 16:55, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just saw that you have tagged the page that major re-organisation and clean-up is needed. Well I fail to see where this applies to it - you can see that this is part of a much larger table of all 1800+ launches of the R-7 series rocket, the most flown in the world, so I just think there's not much going on to, ahem, "re-organize" it. Also I was just following the structure of the other pages for this list set up by another member so the same style was used for it and similar lists of rocket launches.

If you have problems with the structure of similar lists, feel free to post at the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spaceflight page so that other members interested can also take a look of this. ;) Galactic Penguin SST (talk) 18:09, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for visiting my page. It's my first one.

I think I have changed the figure to make them visible. Please check my page again if you have time.

British Columbia gold rushes

[edit]

Hi! I undid one of your edits to British Columbia Gold Rushes which you did with Twinkle, as it seemed to restore a vandalized version of the page. As I also saw that you were an experienced user, I would like to know if there is a reason behind this that I am missing. Could you tell me if there is one? (If you answer here, please leave a talkback template on my talk page).

No problem. Thanks for clearing up my questions. Iwilsonp (talk) 21:11, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Wait a sec. Does STiki not autosign my posts when I use the good-faith revert feature? I guess not. Sorry if it caused you some inconvenience. Iwilsonp (talk) 21:11, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi, at Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge we're striving to bring about 10,000 article improvements and creations for the UK and Ireland and inspire others to create more content. In order to achieve this we need diversity of content, in all parts of the UK and Ireland on all topics. Eventually a regional contest will be held for all parts of the British Isles, like they were for Wales and the Wedt Country. We currently have just over 1900 articles and need contributors! If you think you'd be interested in collaborating on this and helping reach the target quicker, please sign up and begin listing your entries there as soon as possible! Thanks.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:40, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 03:03, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi Danielj27052705,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. This month The Women in Red World Contest is being held to try to produce new articles for as many countries worldwide and occupations as possible. There is over £3000 in prizes to win, including Amazon vouchers and paid subscriptions. Wikimedia UK is putting up £250 specifically for editors who produce the most quality new women bios for British women, with special consideration given to missing notable biographies from the Oxford Dictionary of Biography and Welsh Dictionary of Biography. If you're not interested in prize money yourself but are willing to participate independently this is also fine, but please add any articles created to the bottom of the main contest page even if not competing. Your participation in the contest and contributing articles on British women from your area or wherever would we much appreciated. Thanks.
