Clutch (disambiguation)[edit]

Hey there! First of all, thanks for you contribution to the whole of Wikipedia, and to the page in question in particular. However, I am afraid that the magazine that you've mentioned there fails to satisfy the Notability criteria, and consequently should not be listed there. If you have any objections, please list them here, otherwise I shall be changing the page to reflect the argument.

Thanks! Gimlei 16:24, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please see the separate article I have prepared under CLUTCH (magazine) to verify notability. It was a well-regarded literary magazine during its publishing history and included writing from several notable "underground" and alternative press writers, particularly Charles Bukowski. By itself, the appearance of original Bukowski poetry in CLUTCH merits notability. Scholars of Bukowski would appreciate knowing of its existence and would want to include it in bibliographic studies of his work.

Unfortunately, "well-regardedness" is not a criterion for notability, unless it is quantified/standardized in some way :) By itself the appearance of Bukowski poetry in CLUTCH does not merit notability either (and, this appearance should be verifiable as well), but I do admit that a more detailed investigation should be made. Unfortunately, to date there are no set criteria for magazine notability, so I guess the best option is to have to trust you and hope for a good article that will repudiate any non-notability accusations. Good luck! Gimlei 16:58, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Danmuse! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 940 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Fred Barton - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Barry Manilow[edit]

I did not revert it or believe that the information was untrue, I reverted it because it is not properly sourced. Further explanation can be found here: Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners Mlpearc (powwow) 22:01, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 15[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Could It Be Magic, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Mandy and Human Nature. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
