I have never created a Wikipedia article before, but I want to do one because I searched on Wikipedia for an article about Davida, which is a British manufacturer of motorcycle helmets, and there was no article about that Davida. Following is my simple entry to start this process:
Davida is a maker of motorcycle helmets (and accessories) and vacuum gauge systems based on the Wirral Peninsula (locally called simply “the Wirral”), England. According to Davida’s website, the company is the sole UK manufacturer of motorcycle helmets.
In the United States, Davida is known primarily as a helmet maker. Davida’s line of helmets are all open-faced and feature leather linings. The Davida Classic is a simple “brain bucket” with leather lining and a leather strap. The Classic line of helmets reflects the helmet styles worn by motorcycle racers in the 1950s. The Davida Jet helmet covers the wearer’s ears.
The Davida helmet line is associated with the style of the 1950s and 1960s “cafe racer” subculture, the “Mods and Rockers”.
