User page issues[edit]

Hello - I think I've fixed what happened with your page moves and user page issues, you moved your user page to a main Wikipedia article so that it came up as a Wikipedia page. All sorted now, and I will be requesting speedy delete of the main Wikipedia pages as it's not what redirects are for. If you do not want to use User:Dao2 any more, just don't use it - we can't delete user accounts except as a courtesy, see WP:UNC. And perhaps be a bit more cautious when trying to move pages in future? :) Mabalu (talk) 14:49, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've deleted the redirects. I would advise not moving your user page and user talk page into article space. Any article creation you want to do can be done at User:Dao1/yourtitlehere (changing that to suit). The Keep me logged in thing means you don't have to sign in for a year - so long as you keep using the same computer. But it also means that anyone else who has access to that computer will be automatically signed in as you if they open a Wikipedia page. And that can lead to considerable problems if little brother or sister (or flat mate) gets access to your account. Peridon (talk) 15:15, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Beauty and the Beast (2017 film)[edit]

Hi Dao1, I reverted your edit to Beauty and the Beast (2017 film). In the 1991 film there are references to 10 years passing, for example in the lyrics of Be Our Guest. These references are not in the 2017 film though. If you find a source that confirms 10 years pass in the 2017 film, go ahead and re-add your edit Swoophle (talk) 10:14, 10 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message[edit]

Hello, Dao1. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
