You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bishonen | talk 11:52, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

E-mail[edit]

Hi. I have replied to your e-mail. Please respond here, public discussion is better than e-mail for this kind of thing. Bishonen | talk 16:37, 4 February 2016 (UTC). Thank you Bishonen for teaching the trick to respond to talk. Darklord.ankit (talk) 19:00, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have communicated with Bishonen about the problem. He has explained me in great detail that my article was in violation of two of the Wikipedia rules which I realized I should have thoroughly read. Now that the administrator has explained me my mistakes, I would keep this in mind, and would love to positively contribute to the Wikipedia community, keeping in mind the rules and regulations. I request you to please accept my appeal to revoke this block. Darklord.ankit (talk) 19:17, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

There's no reason to unblock you if you're only here to create an article about a non-notable social network. OhNoitsJamie Talk 19:41, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Ohnoitsjamie: Okay. Thank you. Darklord.ankit (talk) 20:04, 4 February 2016 (UTC) [reply]

Ankit, I'm sorry, I should have made it clearer that if you want to request unblock, you need to make some statement about being ready to abandon the non-notable subject of your article, and edit other subjects. You didn't say anything about that, so it's unsurprising that Ohnoitsjamie declined to unblock you. How about it? If you can see your way clear to stating here that you're done with Rime (on Wikipedia), and saying what you'd like to do instead, I'll unblock you myself; I hope Jamie doesn't mind.
You don't need to have subject expertise enough to create an article, as you said in your mail; it's actually better to start small, and improve existing articles. By copyediting, for instance. We have many articles written wholly or partly by non-native speakers, that need stylistic improvements. Please respond below. (If you like, you can check out how I indent my post with colons, and add one more colon when you respond. I'm not a he, btw.) Bishonen | talk 22:51, 4 February 2016 (UTC).[reply]
Bishonen I think it comes back to having a public discussion rather than a personal email so that our email exchange could've been visible to Ohnoitsjamie. Thank you for clarification on how to properly frame the unblock request. I will raise a new one. And as you suggested, I would start with copyediting. (Sorry for mistaking you for a guy.)

Request reason:

I have learned my lesson. I have abandoned the thought of writing an article on Rime (on Wikipedia) since it is a non-notable work (leading to article being Advertising) and my acquaintance with one of the founders of the company (leading to Conflict of Interest). I still think that I would be able to help Wikipedia community to the best of my knowledge, and as suggested by Bishonen, I would like to start with copyediting work, only if my knowledge of subject matter/language contributes positively to the article. I have made it my priority that before writing any new article, I would read the guidelines again so that I stay committed to the goals of Wikipedia community. Please consider my request for unblock. Thank you. Darklord.ankit (talk) 06:46, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Thank you for clarifying your intentions, Darklord.ankit. Welcome to Wikipedia! Feel free to blank anything you'd rather not keep on this page. It doesn't go away — it remains accessible through the "history" tab — but it doesn't have to be out in public. Bishonen | talk 07:22, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bishonen Thanks for accepting request. Darklord.ankit (talk) 17:11, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
