Username[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Darwinbot", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because the suffix "bot" is generally reserved for bot accounts. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. HMman (talk) 15:04, 27 October 2012 (UTC).[reply]

...ooops, I must confess I hadn't bothered checking the username policy ('darwinbots' was a neat little program on natural selection, written by a person I know, which I particularly liked...), I'll ask for a name change... darwinbot (talk) 16:12, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's completely understandable. I suspected it was an honest mistake, but name policies stand regardless. HMman (talk) 16:25, 27 October 2012 (UTC).[reply]
