Issue with a DatBot's reduction

Hi, I'm here to inform you that I reverted an edit from DatBot, specifically on File:Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff (quadtych).jpg. This is a quadtych, not a single image, so we need it to be at least four times the standard reduced size – so if the standard for a single image is 250×400, a quadtych should be at least 1000×1600 – or more, considering the thick line separator. If we reduce it more than that, we won't be able to see anything worth, while we need that for the comparison to the comics counterpart at Wanda Maximoff (Marvel Cinematic Universe)#Adaptation and appearances. Technical news

The tag filter on Special:NewPages and revision history pages can now be inverted. This allows hiding edits made by automated tools. (T334338)
Special:BlockedExternalDomains is a new tool that allows easier blocking of plain domains (and their subdomains). This is more easily searchable and is faster for the software to use than the existing MediaWiki:Spam-blacklist. It does not support regex (for complex cases), URL path-matching, or the MediaWiki:Spam-whitelist. (T337431)

Speedy deletion

You notified me on my talk page that File:Fulton County Mugshot of Donald Trump.png "was an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links were updated."

@ImYourTurboLover: it is mentioned in the deletion log, File:Donald Trump mug shot.jpg. After looking further into it, I'm unsure if I should have speedy deleted it rather than taken it through FFD due to the original actually being a .png, hence despite being unable to spot any differences it may still fall under WP:NOTCSD#9. Hi, WP:CSD#F1 requires the files to share the same format. File:Fulton County Mugshot of Donald Trump.png was not eligible for speedy deletion under this criterion, or any of the others. ✗plicit 02:16, 26 August 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion aside, the NBC source uses a JPG image, so I'm genuinely interested where the PNG came from. The PNG image is also cropped compared to the one we're currently using, and has been published elsewhere. For example at Reuters, you can see all those little dents in the wall for Trump and the other subjects. These are cropped from the uploaded NBC image. -- zzuuzz ^(talk) 12:52, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
