reference to response of history of Force Reconnaissance
[edit]Thank you for pointing that out. I was trying to implement their history from US doctrine, The American Amphibious Reconnaissance that was written in 1906. Since no one had an article of the history of Force Reconnaissance, I felt that I type some info that I know (to the best of my knowlege) to get the ball rolling.
I too have served with Force Recon, even though I have been out of the Marines since 2006, I was misled that they deactivated ALL the Force Recon Companys. Only 2nd Force, which they formed into MARSOC. That was my reason on the past tense.
There are other things on the wiki that I consider unconclusive material on the subject pertaining to Force Reconnaissance. Its a slow process and extensive research that I have dedicated myself to document substantial information. Since I posted an article of Force Recon a while back and do not wish to re-edit; I do further reconstruction and editing on my wiki user page.
Please add commments to my User Talk page if there are more unsubstantial info that I failed to look over of foreseen. Also consider that I am really new at being a wikipedian. Thank you.
