I just added another reference (a published book) with the page number that mentions Tony Terran. This is the most reliable and verifiable source available on the wrecking crew. Tony and Hal did many recording sessions together in the 60s and 70s.--Daveterran 00:01, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

I am adding my dad's recording credits based on royalty payment statements from distribution funds such as AFM & SAG-AFTRA Distribution Fund, which I get as a beneficiary of my dad's recordings. There are other online resources such as All Music, Discogs, my dad's website, etc. that cooberate that my dad played on these recordings. Recording credits are quite incomplete on Wikipedia pages, and I'm just trying to make it more accurate! Daveterran (talk) 18:10, 18 May 2022 (UTC)

The first thing is that Wikipedia is not supposed to contain every possible fact. Instead, Wikipedia is designed to be a summary of published knowledge.

Your dad's royalty payments are not considered a reliable source on Wikipedia—they haven't been published. See WP:Reliable sources.

The discogs website can be changed by anyone logging in, so it is considered unreliable on Wikipedia. See WP:USERG and WP:ALBUMAVOID.

I have seen your dad's name in a few AllMusic credit lists, but many of your contributions are not supported that way.

Your dad's website is not considered reliable. See WP:SPS.

I can see why AllMusic is not so reliable for biographical details. Your link to Terran's credits include the album Music Box by the Monkees, but surfing to the AllMusic credits for Music Box shows no trumpet and no Terran,[2] so clearly this is not a well-managed database. One would have to go to other sources for Terran on Music Box, for instance albumlinernotes.com which says Terran played on two unremarkable songs on that album.[3] (I don't know whether albumlinernotes would be considered reliable. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tony Terran. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
