Concerning the recent Drifters edit: "The US Trademark Appeal Court has recently ruled that this is not the official Drifters group and is taking action to decline their mark." In that case, please add this info to the article (with proof). The Platters

As I'm sure you must know after almost ten years of editing, statements in edit summaries like "I'm well versed on The Platters history" count for absolutely nothing here. We go by what reliable, published sources say. I'm quite happy to compare sources on the article talk page, and indeed have already raised the issue - you have not responded. That is where discussion takes place - not in edit summaries, not on pages like this, and certainly not through reverting good faith edits to maintain the status quo ante, which you have done several times. If you persist in your behaviour one more time you will immediately be reported for edit warring. Just discuss the matter in a civil fashion in the proper place, and that can be avoided. Thanks. More than happy to discuss it. The subject in discussion was a member of the earlier group named The Flamingos. He played piano with The Platters on their first recording session but is not considered an original member. There are more published sources than not that don't consider him an early member of the group. I'm making changes for accuracy.
