You should look up a variety of definitions of thick-skinned deformation. At the beginning of your page, you should synthesize and cite these. Then give examples from different thick-skinned orogenic systems. Your proposal for your figure suggests to me that you haven't quite nailed the definition of thick-skinned deformation yet, keep plugging at it.
