Robust statistics[edit]

~Hi David!

It would be great if you wanted to start pages on robust statistics.

In stalking mode a month ago, I looked at your very interesting course on robust statistics. You should see the self-deprecating homepage of Oja, with a quote from a referee about the notoriety of his median estimator! He published a Springer LNS book on his group's robust multivariate statistics. Best regards,  Kiefer.Wolfowitz  (Discussion) 23:32, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New Fellows of the AMS[edit]

~Hi David, Do you know of anyone who is working on pages for the 2017 Fellows of the American Mathematical Society? I noticed that there aren't pages for several of the women who were elected: Donatella Danielli, Kathryn Hess, Mei-Chu Chang, Kirsten Eisenträger, and Julia Petsova. Let me know if anyone is working on these pages. Mvitulli (talk) 20:14, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not that I know of. I already did the ones that caught my attention (mostly meaning that I could make another claim of notability for them beyond just the AMS Fellow). —David Eppstein (talk) 21:04, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
