@Nqr9: @BrosHistory: I avoid doing much of anything on Wikipedia anymore. Its leftist PC bias annoys me. The use of BCe and/or Before Present (BP) instead of BC in articles REALLY gets my goat! As a result, I am not getting involved here, though I seriously doubt that The Time album sold 3 million copies. Push yes. The Time? As you may know Alan Vega's birthdate is currently listed as 1948. There appears to conflicting evidence - the official book - versus the currently sourced Blast First Press Release. The Slider[edit]
Hi David, I've edited your information added to the release of The Slider on a few grounds. Making the Reviews in the infobox or elsewhere into links rather than cites encourages link rot per WP:ALBUMS, and should not happen. A lot of information you added was uncited so I had it removed. Of the information you included again and cited, a good chunk was from Discogs which should not be used as a reliable source as it's information is all user-generated. - Hi Davidkt. You are right about the Thunderbird release being a new album entirely. I don't know if it's tracklist is so important rather than an explanation of what it is related to the album. We might as well just say "In 2002 Thunderbird released an album featuring outtakes of the Slider" or something to that effect. Discogs should not be used as a reliable source as the source of information on the site could be from anyone anywhere as anyone could be uploading incorrect or fake information. Additionally, the author of the site, Laurie Efrein-Kahalas, has written a book, Snake Dance: Unravelling the Mysteries of Jonestown, that is a "Publish On Demand" book that has not affiliated with any acceptable book publisher/editor. This further qualifies her website and book as sources that fall under WP:QUESTIONABLE/WP:UGC.
