sorry about the accusation that you were acting in bad faith. i just didn't understand what you were doing. actually, on second thought, if casinoroom is wholly owned by betandwin, it ought to be written about on that page. you should add content to the appropriate section at Betandwin.com. I changed casinoroom.com to a redirect to betandwin. If you still need the work you lost at the casinoroom page, leave a msg here and i'll help you get it back. right now, i need sleep! ooh, a few lessons before i go. Use four tildes at the end of your talk page comments to insert a signature: ~~~~, or the little button at the top of the edit box (looks like a squigly signature). Also, wikilink stuff using double-pairs of square brackets: [[book]] produces book. that also has a button, third from the left. ask me if you need help with anything else. I'll watch your talk page in case you leave a msg here. --Kchase02 T 11:08, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

BetandWin

[edit]

Hey dude, remember you thought I was acting in bad faith writting about casinoroom.com on another page and we decided that "if casinoroom is wholly owned by betandwin, it ought to be written about on that page" well since then I've been writting about or at least trying to write about HoldemPoker, (yes if you hadn't guessed by now I like, love Poker, write about what your passionate right?, by the way cool article about the erie canal!) anyhow everytime I simply write a short pargraph about HoldemPoker which is a brand ran by Ongame, just like casinoroom or pokerroom, someone called 2005 simply removes it, I dont understand why, surrely the whole point of wikipedia is to be as consice as we can be about everything right? HoldemPoker is another brand, deleting it because it belongs to a larger company is nonscence right? It would be like deleting a part of Lincoln because it belongs to Ford right? Anyway can you help/suggest anything, thx!

The problem is any new page on a gambling website is likely to fail a notability guideline, Wikipedia:Notability (web). I'd recommend reading the guideline thorougly, doing a first draft of any new page in an outside text editor first, and then posting it to wikipedia if you really think it meets the guideline and evidence of that is in the article itself. Otherwise, it's likely to be deleted. If the website is part of a bigger company, consider adding mention of the website to the company's article.--Kchase02 T 19:14, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Bwin-logo.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bwin-logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Image source problem with Image:Bwin.GIF

[edit]
Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Bwin.GIF. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:25, 16 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. NowCommons: File:Pembrokecastle1811.jpg

[edit]

File:Pembrokecastle1811.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Pembrokecastle1811 (1).jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Pembrokecastle1811 (1).jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 19:49, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Mindpearl has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:CORP. I can't find any significant coverage of this company in any independent sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Mindpearl for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Mindpearl is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mindpearl until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. SmartSE (talk) 00:07, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Pembrokemainstreetpostcard.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Pembrokemainstreetpostcard.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 09:47, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
