Hi Mark and Jont, I've been able to create a wiki document that includes various components including a photo and narratives from many sources. I'm still waiting for Mom's account from her bio, which young Nancy should have typed any day. (Right, Mark?)

This wiki format allows anyone to add to the file from their computer, which I can then review and save to the re-circulated document. (Jont, your account about what Mom's stroke has meant to you is the lightest of the brothers. Do you want to add anything now?0

Once I have the file from young Nancy and Jont's account (or desire to add that later), I will circulate the wiki doc to Ami@mimosa 6sons and most wives).

You can respond to me by email by using this Talk feature. Or you can just send me a separate email, or just call 314-374-00075.

Jont, thanks for your help with the image-download stuff. Essentially, I needed to upload the picture to the wiki Commons database of photos, which is their way of controlling the use of photos that are copywritten by another photog and porn.

Incidentally I don't think wiki would work for the document about the Iowa trip, because there are too many photos, charts, etc. That doc will be sent in a PDF file through email. That document is waiting for Nancy's typing of Page's essay. --Davis Davisallen7 (talk) 19:30, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Rodney Howe Brandon moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Rodney Howe Brandon, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Howdy hello, sorry for all the boilerplate. I do have a few general notes for you regarding the Rodney Howe Brandon article.
  1. It appears to be a copy and paste of another document that you wrote. Has that been published elsewhere? If so, it is a copyright violation, even if you are the author. The only way to make it not would be to release the text for use under an appropriate free license, which would mean that anyone could use it.
  2. The page looks like original research, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. We only summarize what reliable sources say, we don't do our own research here on Wikipedia. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 22:48, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
