February 2019[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "DavzBOT", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because usernames cannot end in "bot". If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. shoy (reactions) 21:36, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as Template:Fake-bot-shutoff, is not in accordance with our policies. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. February 2019[edit]

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, DavzBOT, contains the suffix "-bot", which is generally reserved for authorized bot accounts.
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this notice, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. — JJMC89(T·C) 05:21, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edits on Google Chrome[edit]

I reverted the edits made to Google Chrome. It changed spellings from American English to British English (rumors -> rumours, catalog -> catalogue), as well as an incorrect change from "including" to "included" (where the grammar issue seems to have been just an unneeded comma. - Plandu (talk) 21:01, 2 March 2019 (UTC) Thank you for telling me this I will attempt to improve my grammar extension - DavsTheEditGuy (talk) 08:38 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

April 2020[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Dick Vitale's "Awesome Baby" College Hoops, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 11:47, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Dick Vitale's "Awesome Baby" College Hoops; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
The page was redirected as a result of a consensus at WP:AFD. It is inappropriate for you to edit war. Please discuss at WT:VG#Dick Vitale's "Awesome Baby" College Hoops. Izno (talk) 18:29, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
