Welcome[edit]

Hello, Dboydomr, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

Excellent contributions - keep up the good work! I expanded your article a tiny bit, but mostly it was just touching up and Wikifying (the process of formatting a page to conform to standards, which doesn't mean that your page is bad, mind you, it was just that it needed a little touching up) If you need any help at all, just ask me on my talk page. I'd be happy to answer any questions you want to ask. -Jetman123 04:47, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whoops, sorry, I accidently sent you the welcome message intended for non-signed up users. Sorry >_>. -Jetman123 04:55, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Chorty[edit]

A tag has been placed on Chorty requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. jonny-mt(t)(c)Tell me what you think! 05:00, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on For King and Country requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. For King and Country[edit]

Hi there! I had to delete your article as it fell afoul of our speedy deletion criteria, specifically A7 but also G11 (though it was not tagged as such).

The big things to remember are that your article must be neutral and written in language which reflects it. It must also contain reliable sources which can verify the claims made in the article. The general threshold for notability can be found here.

I hope that helps and remember, you can use the article wizard to start a new article if it's getting tricky! PanydThe muffin is not subtle 12:27, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
