Kosovo War

That article is a complete and utter mess. My edit was a careful and earnest attempt to fix a ~90KB long monstrosity. The majority of material removed was uncited and probably biased interpretation. i don't appreciate your action

on the osama bin laden talk page you deleted all of my comments indiscriminately, and further made the accusation that my comments were "Rv and borderline trolling." one of them was to point out a typo - but you deleted that one.

Please go back and undo your revert, in the case of the pointed out typo, at least. Also, it is just your own opinion that my comments were not for improving the article (in most cases). And why didn't you delete the comments that I was responding to, that are worse than mine? Do you just not like me, or what, because I don't see any other reason why you would delete mine and not others? like "michael's" who said "f[ommitted] you leroy osama is satan in the flesh"? please explain yourself, and again, please un-revert the typo quote, at the very least. That is representative of my intent, as it was my very first comment. And I would like it if you left the one about the History Channel's actions as well, since that is very encyclopedic as well. And your editing is not POV? You clearly know very little of Christianity or modern history. Have you ever seen the film of the poor little boy that stood for hours at an IDF checkpoint? What would you call that? Please answer me and all of us!

guidelines for the naming of articles

Like too many other editors who have contributed to the current renaming debate at 9/11 conspiracy theories, you claimed that what "reliable sources" call something is a consideration in choosing names for articles, despite the fact that it had already been pointed out that this was not the case. I'm sorry to have to be so blunt about this. Wikipedia:Naming conventions makes absolutely no reference whatsoever to "reliable sources". I agree with the user above. This administrator has no compassion for the hard work of other editors, he simply removes hours of work just like he wants, simply because "he doesn't understand why that is neceassary". Kosovo is Serbia

UN hasn't recognized Kosovo, only 16 stated thus far have recognized it, and Imperium Europeum changed Serbia's map by excluding Kosovo... I have undone his changes and than as you can see in "my talk" he called me Serbian Nationalist and told me that only Western Powers matter and thats why Kosovo is independante (see what he wrote by your self) and then he reported me... Kosovo and Serbia

Hello Chris: I notice that I was reprimanded for reverting vandalism from a user trying to claim that Serbia still had authority over Kosovo. I see that you have stated on his/her discussion page that we must come to a consensus on the matter, which strikes me as a little unlikely, given the level of acrimony within the Serbian position. I know that time is on the side of rationality and reason on this matter, and that the Wikipedia entry will inevitably be changed in such a way to reflect the independence of Kosovo, but I'm not sure why in the meantime we—and other users, who may not be proficient in the topic at hand—should have to endure the ravings of Serbian nationalists, who seem utterly unwilling to accept the new reality. Given the fact that this is not something on which the two sides will ever be able to compromise on, what is to be done?

Also, I apologise for edit warring, although I was of the belief that I was merely reverting an article to the status-quo. I think you'll find that many people before me had altered the Serbia article to include the new map (without Kosovo). Two others then continued to change it back. I realize that the events category does not describe this concept perfectly. However, as there is no category for beliefs or religions, I think this is the best one out there. If there's another category you think is appropriate, by all means let me know. Albanians

I did suggest to you something along the lines that, if the proportion is vastly different between regions, it may warrant a sub-region article. What I suggest is that they could both be merged, or Albanians in Serbia can be made into a summary article about both Serbia and Kosovo. I don't know, it's a bit complicated. The gypsy thing was clear cut, though. I've opposed a move to "Gypsy" because it's more synonymous these days with Irish travellers. Sceptre (talk) 03:02, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but I don't see how that revert was anything but removing vandalism. Three paragraphs of conspiracy theories dumped into the middle of the article are not helpful. Roma people of Hungary

Dear Chris,

Thank you for your comments concerning http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roma_people_of_Hungary I have never used Wiki’s talk feature, I hope this is the way to reflect to your post/actions. Said article is quite offending towards both Hungarian and Roma people and I think I can honestly say it is nowhere near professional or neutral. This comes from a person with no Hungarian but quite some gipsy ancestors. I tried to edit it to my best knowledge, but in fact I find it so judgmental, biased and full of misinformation that I honestly believe it should be rewritten totally from scrap. I am quite surprised that none of my ten or so edits meet Wiki’s requirements. Not even the description of the photo on the page, where anybody who lives here in this region can see it is quite false. Romas living in Hungary aren’t good enough to illustrate this article? You have to pose some Romanians as Hungarians? For what reason? It would be really sad for me to see such great initiative as Wikipedia turn into another tool of oppression and misinformation. If you do care for Romas, Hungarians or this region of the world, as it would seem from you profile, I strongly believe you should help decreasing hatred, misunderstanding and discrimination and not the opposite.

Note for Chris regarding PMOI

You may know that PMOI was finally removed from the British terror list yesterday (24 June 2008) Both Houses of UK Parliament voted unanimously on Monday to lift the ban on PMOI. This followed a ruling by the Lord Chief Justice at the Court of Appeal which described as "perverse" the Home Secretary's refusal to remove the PMOI from the terrorist list. As of today, the PMOI was no longer listed in the Home Office's blacklist. They are now challenging the EU and US lists since the UK courts rejected all those allegations, originally from Tehran, against PMOI. My point to you, with all respect, is that, reading your comments and editorials in sympathy with some pro regime (or if you prefer : anti PMOI) users, you easily filed a complaint against my contributions and edits to the PMOI page. May be since I was a new user, I was not such an expert like you with Wikipedia, but I wander why you never seem to show any such sensitivity about the pro regime edits by people like CreazySuit, BoogaLouie,... who keep deleting my (and other) contributions ? The same goes with the pages about Rajavi. People can not be indifferent in politics; You can not keep claiming that you are neutral but in practice you were clearly taking sides by trying to keep our mouths shut. Undoing another users edit

Hi Chris, I 'undid' an edit for an external spam link on the logo article as I thought after reading Wikipedia:WikiProject_Spamit was the correct thing to do followed by placing a warning on User_talk:Joe3311 talk page. However, when I checked the user's talk page I noticed you had left a message stating it had been tagged for speedy deletion. Apologies for that, but so it doesn't happen again was there something I missed during the revert that should have alerted me that you had tagged it? That's because I believe he is sincere when he expresses his concerns about Russia's image and his desire to help improve it on Wikipedia. I can fault Russia's government for propagating the lie of liberating the Baltics in the Great Patriotic War, but I can't fault Victor for his being caught up in that collective memory. I don't know wether you lack compassion or what, but the reader needs (and most want) graphical explainations of examples, to get a serious grip and understand of the extent of inhumanity.
