Please do not add text that was previously removed by consensus, as you did to Varèse Sarabande. If you believe that the text should be re-added, and there is good reason to, please post your reasoning at Talk:Varèse Sarabande. Thank you for your contributions, and if you have any further questions, you can contact me on my talk page. -RunningOnBrains 04:17, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am certainly no authority. However, at least two other editors plus myself expressed concern that a plain list of album releases, especially one as long as the one you added, violated several points of the Wikipedia policy "What Wikipedia is not", especially the point "Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information". Wikipedia tries to make articles as concise and informative as possible while still presenting the topic in full. In my opinion, the list of releases is not needed or desirable for this article, but if you still think so, again, you should post at the article's talk page with your reasoning to start a discussion (just press the "New section" button at the very top of that page).-RunningOnBrains 10:39, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is the solution proposed here acceptable to you? While not ideal, I would be ok with the discography as a separate list at List of Varèse Sarabande releases or something like that. It should still have a brief summary in the main article, though, with a link using the {{main}} template. I'm going to be away from my computer for two weeks starting tonight, so if you still have any comments/questions/complaints I'll address them as soon as I can. Happy editing! -RunningOnBrains 20:48, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
