Re: File:Skazka.PNG

Russian copyright laws have changed since to be in line with those of the EU, I believe (I think this is now on the Wikipedia copyrights page - worth checking), and claiming it is your own work doesn't go/isn't on/whatever- the Lilypond file is your work, but that's not the only question at hand. Considering (well, not much inclined as originally wrote) marking file for deletion.

(On a lighter note, Medtner plays the first three op 51 skazki wonderfully on an unavailable EMI disc, but I think the recordings are still available spread out elsewhere - maybe on APR, or on other EMI recordings, or elsewhere. Not doing this out of any dislike of the _piece_, certainly, and perhaps fair use covers the use of a single bar - you may wish to check.) Would suggest looking into that. Invitation to an in-person meetup in Mohua / Golden Bay[edit]

Golden Bay Air are holding some seats for us until 21 November

Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.

Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.

Be in touch with Schwede66 if this event interests you and you'd like to discuss logistics. Schwede66 09:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
