Another Unblock Request

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Deano91 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I was told by an admin to make another unblock request and to make a note that I was given an extended second chance and that my unblock is therefore to be judged on this second chance. Also, as I said before in the other block that I have added many sources to the articles on my talk page and would like to be unblocked.

Decline reason:

(see below)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

To other admins, note that the second chance referred to here is Template:2ndchance. --Yamla 17:36, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have left a message with the blocking admin. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 22:39, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I came here from the unblock request category, and I'm concerned of the use of non-free images here. Per the fair use rationale, these sorts of images are to be only used minimally, and not in the user space. I understand that the user has been 'practicing' editing, and has been using this page as a sort of sandbox, but I believe it is best to at least comment out the non-free images. -Andrew c [talk] 01:18, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So wait, I'm confused. Am I unblocked or not? Deano91 19:37, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Same Unblock Request (Just re-posting just incase it went unnoticed or forgotten)

Ok, first of all it's very hard to even understand the edits you are proposing to do because you didn't follow the instructions. Try to make a top-level header (with single = marks) for each article. But having looked over a couple of them, they seem like minor changes, not well-supported by sources, which I see has been the problem all along. For instance your proposed change to "Play with Fire (Hilary Duff song)" seems to be describing a "controversy" without any evidence that one exists. So, no unblock. Wait, your not going to unblock me because of one article even though i have many other articles that are well sourced? Deano91 18:34, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Out of three changes I looked at that you had proposed, none were well-sourced. But I will make a note on the blocking admin's page that you've posted an attempt: since they're the one that offered the second chance, they'll probably have a better idea of what they want to see in order to unblock you. Mangojuicetalk 19:40, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, so what do I do now? Deano91 19:51, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I asked ExtraordinaryMachine and he agrees, those proposed edits don't show an understanding of the problems. So, I guess, if you really want to edit, read up on the basics of Wikipedia: WP:5P, WP:V, WP:RS, WP:NPOV, et cetera. Or just go back to writing in forums, encyclopedia writing may not be for you. Mangojuicetalk 13:58, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain the problems that I had again? sry. Deano91 23:21, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:On the Ride.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:On the Ride.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. AfD nomination of I Live for the Day

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is I Live for the Day. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/I Live for the Day. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:07, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
