Hi Debouch, I only want to say "thank You" for all the corrections in grammar and writing you made. If you have some technical questions or do you want additional references please feel free to ask on the discussion page--Elcap (talk) 08:46, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(Replied on their page at the time. Didn't know any better. Debouch (talk) 23:06, 15 September 2017 (UTC))[reply]

hey kensington market[edit]

Hi I tried to publish a picture there my first but it seems I didn't know how to do after reading the brochure I rename my picture with a name accepted and not ban by wikipedia like numerological names of picture. Now I tried to post r after you but can't no more. How can I publish a picture correctly now? Verrtofeter (talk) 04:50, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Verrtofeter: The picture has to be uploaded to either Wikipedia or Commons first, but only if you took the picture yourself or otherwise own the copyright. Your account has to be four days old before you can do this. This picture can then be used by anyone. I don't know what you mean by "brochure" or whether that means you can't figure out the English instructions. I suggest you go to the Wikipedia of your native language and upload it to Commons from there and then come back here and add it. Here are some links: Help:Introduction to uploading images, Wikipedia:Picture tutorial, Wikipedia:Image use policy, Wikipedia:File copyright tags. I hope this helps. Re: Saleen Page[edit]

All I meant was how can a page be written about something without ever mentioning the name of the subject of the article. Saleen, like Ford, is an automotive manufacturer. That is why I used Ford as a reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Solo12gauge (talkcontribs) 20:44, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, ok, And all I meant with my "cuckoo clock" (over-the-top, sorry) reference was that since the reader already knows the name of the company, it is not necessary or desirable to use it everywhere it might be needed if this were not already known. The Ford article uses it in such a natural way. It's a kind of redundance that makes it sound like ad copy and makes it difficult to read. Debouch (talk) 21:16, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to self-revert anyway since you may be right after all. Debouch (talk) 22:14, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I definitely don't want it to sound promotional and I put a lot of work into making it not come across as marketing copy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Solo12gauge (talkcontribs) 17:12, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Revert: Trolling[edit]

Your edit, found here, claims that my concerns regarding a potential Nazi sympathizer making subtle edits on a Wikipedia article were, somehow in some way, "Trolling". Nothing in my edit was in the least bit of a "Troll". I named no one, merely pointed to similarities between here and a blog and raised a concern.208.54.80.178 (talk)

The repetition of the material combined with the seeming impracticality of action and the subject matter itself made me think so. It also (believe it or not) sounded a bit like a promotion for the blog to me.
Well I apologisze then for these bad faith assumptions, if that's in order. Would you like it restored? Debouch (talk) 00:00, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
If you'll put a z up there where it belongs, I'll accept it. :) 208.54.80.178 (talk) 01:07, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
? Debouch (talk) 01:29, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps it's my turn to apologize. The OED informs me apologize takes a "Z", however the internet indicates that "S" (apologise) is acceptable. I'd always thought the usage of an "S" was a common error. 172.56.12.53 (talk) 18:46, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
There's no need. I already knew that. I use either one on a whim depending on whether I think it's an "s" or a "z" day. Thanks for the thought though. :) Debouch (talk) 19:01, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
