July 2020[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Savdhaan India, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 11:59, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

August 2020[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Crime Patrol (TV series) has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 05:17, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Deepanshu Titoriya moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Deepanshu Titoriya, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on Draft:Deepanshu Titoriya, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.   Kadzi  (talk) 20:05, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Improper move[edit]

You moved your user talk page to User talk:Famepedia. This is not an allowed move and I've requested that it be undone. The username Famepedia is not registered and would not be allowed as it violates Wikipedia's username policy - it is the name of a website and implies shared use. If you would like to change your username, please see Changing username for the proper way to do it. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 20:32, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jmcgnh,  Done, should there be a redirect? Megan Barris (Lets talk📧) 21:04, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Synoman Barris, I wouldn't have left a redirect (as there were no incoming links to it that I would be concerned about) but now that there is one, I'm not sure it's worth the effort to remove it. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 21:12, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hello, Famepedia, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Draft:Deepanshu Titoriya, which appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 20:41, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Deepanshu titoriya. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 06:12, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

August 2020[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 06:18, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've blocked you because you're here solely to promote yourself, as your edits have been done purely in that regard. I'm also concerned that the claimed roles may be false, as there's nothing out there to back up any of the claims other than pages that you've made yourself, such as social media sites or wiki pages that you made for yourself. IMDb has no record of you and while the presence of an IMDb profile isn't proof of either notability or legitimacy (as multiple people have created hoax pages and film credits, sometimes on very major profile films or shows), the complete absence of a profile is strong evidence that the roles either didn't happen or the performances were considered too minor to make note of on IMDb (and as such, would be very unlikely to be considered noteworthy on Wikipedia). You've also moved a draft page live despite warnings against this and repeated deletion. It's possible that you could be unblocked, but you would not be able to add yourself to articles or create an article about yourself to Wikipedia.
