Proposed deletion of Maestro (producer) Discography[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Maestro (producer) Discography, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Redundant, given that this entire list forms the bulk of the article Maestro (producer).

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Oli Filth(talk|contribs) 19:41, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Category:Songs produced by Maestro (producer) (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. Oli Filth(talk|contribs) 19:50, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Discography[edit]

Hi,

In general, splitting out a discography into a separate article is only worthwhile if the main article is getting too long. Clearly, in the case of Maestro (producer), this is not the case! Therefore, I've moved the material back into that article.

Regards, Oli Filth(talk|contribs) 20:21, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Again, there is simply no need for a separate discography article. Why are you re-creating it? Oli Filth(talk|contribs) 20:31, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Shanell woodgett[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. As the article namespace is for encyclopedic content and not tests, the page you made will soon be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion of Shanell Woodgett[edit]

A tag has been placed on Shanell Woodgett requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

Proposed deletion of Shanell Woodgett[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Shanell Woodgett, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Previously speedily deleted, lacks notability

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Yourself and D. Woods[edit]

You must provide valid sources that support the statements in "your article" about Shanell Woodgett. Your article must comply with WP:Notability. If it cannot, it must be deleted from Wikipedia. Those are the rules here. You should not remove the prod tag from an article here...unless you improve the concern or concerns of that article. If you continue to remove the prod tag, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia, temporarily or permanently.

Furthermore, you cannot change important information in the D. Woods article...unless you have valid sources backing up your change/changes. You say you changed it at the request of D. Woods. But I point out that we cannot take your word for it. If you are really close to her, you should advise her to come to Wikipedia and change it herself. I will give your changes to the D. Woods article two days to be sourced with valid sources. If that is not taken care of in that time, I will revert that article back to before you edited it. Actually, removal of PROD tags may be done for any reason (as it says in the tag itself). Tags shouldn't be re-added, unless it was removed in an act of blatant vandalism. Users certainly can't be blocked for removing PROD tags. Oli Filth(talk|contribs) 22:37, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It depends on the what PROD tag it is. If it is a speedy deletion or AfD tag, then, no, it cannot simply be removed for any reason. As for the "blocked" part of my comment, I clearly crossed that out. The rest of the discussion about this took place at my talk page. Flyer22 (talk) 20:16, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
PROD is completely distinct from AfD and CSD, they're three completely separate deletion processes. Please refer to WP:DEL. Regards, Oli Filth(talk|contribs) 08:41, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I know that. And as I stated before, this discussion already took place on my talk page. Flyer22 (talk) 21:09, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD Nomination: Shanell Woodgett[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that Shanell Woodgett meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shanell Woodgett. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. FunPika 21:00, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
