Refrain from disruptive edits such as your ' Sourced Content removal from Malabar Muslims and POV pushes to Islam related articles of Kerala. Wikipedia is not a place for religious promotion and POV pushes. 207.96.13.12 (talk) 20:04, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi IP editer,By reviewing your edits its unconstructive as what you had done on https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=1257210360&oldid=1257209666&title=Malabar_Muslims

 • Dear IP User, this behavior is not acceptable here. Your violations of WP policy are clear, and your accusations come across as uncivil. Any further vandalism may result in actions like blocking. This is your final warning!

Verifiability

[edit]

I have tagged Venniyour revolt with Verifiability and started a discussion on Talk:Venniyour revolt#Verifiability, please respond there.

I have removed the unsourced sentence

"Venniyour revolt was happened against Kaprat Landlord-Madras regement of British east India company ally in 1843."

from the article Venniyour added in diff. Please never add information without citing a reliable source; verifiability is one of our three most important core content policies. Sam Sailor 08:42, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) Also, it was in very bad English. Can you see what's wrong with it, DelphiLore (several things)? Please be more careful when you edit. If it's true that you're a native speaker of English, as your userpage states, you should be able to do better if you try. Bishonen | tålk 12:05, 15 November 2024 (UTC).[reply]
Hi Bishonen and Sam,
When I first began working on this article, my primary focus was on copying the exact lines from the source material to ensure accuracy. However, I now realize that this may not have been the best approach, and I’m open to revising the content to better align with the quality of WP. I appreciate your feedback and will work to improve the article accordingly. --DelphiLore (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 12:49, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
He is not a native English speaker. He is from Kerala and engaging in promotion of Islam related article in Kerala. He is into vandalism and promotion from both his logged out IP 5.107.87.236 and this account.
Not here to contribute to Wikipedia. 2600:4040:4522:2100:7DAE:444F:BF6C:4592 (talk) 12:33, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
2600:4040:4522:2100:7DAE:444F:BF6C:4592 has been making false allegations against me. I would like to clarify that I am not using any sock puppets. However, I believe this ID is Sockpuppet Puppet of User:Hajpo, based on similar editing patterns and behaviours. You can compare this ID Users' contributions with Hajpo. --DelphiLore (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 13:02, 15 November 2024 (UTC) (DelphiLore, please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four keyboard tildes like this: ~~~~. Or, you can use the [ reply ] button, which automatically signs posts. Signing with --DelphiLore as you did in Special:Diff/1256729323, Special:Diff/1256744675, Special:Diff/1257531870, Special:Diff/1257538335, and Special:Diff/1257540029 is not sufficient and creates problems for e.g. Convenient Discussions. I have amended several of your replies with undated per WP:TPO. Sam Sailor 19:09, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
He is using AI tools to write in English at Wikipedia. 2600:4040:4522:2100:7DAE:444F:BF6C:4592 (talk) 12:50, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I can see he is. DelphiLore, you certainly didn't write your last two posts here in your own words. They're written in the typical hackneyed (but "correct") English clichés of a Large Language Model. That's disrespectful to the person you're speaking to. I would advise you to a) use your own words, even if they're not perfect, and b) stop making unlikely claims of being a native speaker of both English and French. Both "AI English" and unlikely claims make a bad impression, and that's not what you want, is it? It's likely to make people doubt your competence to edit the English Wikipedia. Finally, I note that you have ignored my question above, so I'll repeat it: please tell me, if you can, what is wrong with the English of the sentence "Venniyour revolt was happened against Kaprat Landlord-Madras regement of British east India company ally in 1843."
More importantly, you have also ignored Sam Sailor's request to respond at Talk:Venniyour revolt#Verifiability in the discussion he has opened there about sourcing your statement. Instead you have deflected by writing fluff here about being "open to revising the content to better align with the quality of WP". If you're really open to that, then go to the talkpage and start doing it. You're getting close to being blocked for lack of competence. Bishonen | tålk 14:20, 15 November 2024 (UTC).[reply]

Koya (Malabar)

[edit]

Lacking a response both on Talk:Ummer Bafaki Tangal - do please go and fix that unattributed translation - and on Talk:Venniyour revolt, I post here in regards to Koya (Malabar) where I have reverted yet another unexplained page move and reverted five unsourced edits. Let's have a look at one particular edit, diff:

Khoja (خواجه ) alias Khoya is a Muslim community, predominantly found in the city of Calicut in southern India. Scholars speculate Omani origin to the community and assume that the name is a corruption of the title "Khawaja". Khoja (خواجه ) alias Khoya or Koya is a Muslim community, predominantly found in the city of Calicut in southern India. Let us disregard the MOS peculiarities and the lack of a wikilink to shahbandar that could have been helpful for the English-speaking reader, and, for the moment, the grammar issue with a sentence like "Kwajas held administrative position called ..." as well as the fact that the author's name, Kunhali, is not spelled as in the 1986 source, rather Malayalam: കുഞ്ഞാലി is transliterated Kunjali, suggesting a native Malayali habitually using the newer 2001 ISO 15919 standard for romanization. Let's focus on two things that are sourced to Kunhali (1986):

 1. "... administrative position called Shah bandhar -e- Khwaja". Please state the page number of the thesis and quote directly where he writes this.
 2. Most importantly, "Scholars like Kunjali speculate Omani origin" is substituted for "Scholars speculate Omani origin". I have the full 373-page thesis in front of me, and I can't find where he writes that. I can't exclude OCR errors. So please state the page number and quote directly where he writes this.
