RE: Village People Christmas album... since November 4th is only two weeks away, cut some slack on the citation/reference thing. Hotcop2 (talk) 00:38, 19 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

the Village People set list[edit]

Besides the fact that this isn't their set list, your reference site has taken down the entry. We have to remember that Wiki is supposed to be "encyclopedian" not like a teenage fan magazine. Hotcop2 (talk) 21:29, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Then it could slightly modified for the changes. The information has been up here for months and I can see that you have a history of monitoring this page quite frequently. Why all of a sudden you have an issue with the information here? I also have noticed you're very bias in favor towards Victor Willis and his camp. This is supposed to be an encyclopedic work. Please refrain from allowing your biases to come out and permeate throughout the article. Victor Willis has had a shaky past, and it is great things are going better for him, but we can't rewrite history or facts to better one side. Now the section for setlist can be modified to provide information for songs the band is currently/recently been doing. I think Village People fans would love to be able to see what kind of songs the band is doing whether it is predominately Victor Willis era material, Ray Simpson era material or even the 80's Victor/Sex Over the Phone material. This page also, is really the only area to find as much information on Village People anywhere on the net. Sadly, Victor & Village People don't keep up with information on their website/respective social media pages. Depshiit Patel (talk) 23:40, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't lie about the Village People set list site, it wasn't coming up yesterday. It came up today, however, and here's a link to a set list that is correct on that site, if you're so bent on having this list. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/village-people/2019/douglas-park-chicago-il-439cfbef.html Hotcop2 (talk) 02:35, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A simple YouTube search will lead you to some videos. That backing band is on fire! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WC5ERw3U0hs. Depshiit Patel (talk) 03:30, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
