RJ: South Ossetia[edit]

I'm just trying to keep the wording in line with that used by independent sources. Surely you realise how much attention this article receives from both anti-Russian and anti-Georgian, but not simply pro-Russian or pro-Georgian, editors. Just the second sentence has been changed ~twenty times in the last week. I think the Georgian military says very clearly, and they are taking the issue to international court, that "ongoing skirmishes escalated into war after Georgia attacked the city of Tskhinvali". Of course, that has now been changed to "...when Georgia attacked the South Ossetian capital of Tskhinvali" in direct contradiction of the United States general counsel, not to mention the Goergian Ministry of Defense. Your changes to the article structure modify how quickly (not sure on this, might be thinking of another editor) the withdrawal process was conducted, which in turn affects the reliability of death toll estimates, so it's important that you gain community consensus for them.
